In addition to government-mandated safety and quality programs, our own in-house Quality Assurance team with in-depth knowledge of destination market preferences, works with selected suppliers to develop and manage products, packaging and programs designed to meet market needs and customer specifications; commodity, private label or Piri Reis's own branded product lines.Product quality is monitored on a regular and frequent basis in our in-house lab as well as through supplier plant visits to assure both our and our customer's requirements are being met. Piri Reis’s main distribution platform is located in Izmir, Turkey. Izmir has the one of the largest container port in Turkey and is centrally located to serve operations across Turkey, Eurasia, North and East Africa, Black Sea, Iraq and the neighboring Middle East Countries.Being a bridge between Europe, the West and the East, Turkey is strategically located to set up a dependable and act an economic supply chain center for the region. Items are sourced directly from the most competitive origins. These items are shipped directly to Turkey. The main origins where Piri Reis buys such commodities are the EU, USA, South America, Far East and Turkey. Always according to agreed specifications, quality standards, at the most competitive prices.

 

 

Items that have sufficiently long shelf life but not very large purchase requirements, are sourced on specialty traders and wholesalers that carry such stocks on continuous basis and from whom Piri Reis buys sufficient quantity to stock and maintain inventory turnover.

 

These items are consolidated in Izmir and shipped to final destination on regular basis with quantity that should cover each item forecasted consumption.
